Comparing Fund Asset Allocation to Other Large Pension Funds
[updated annually in February]

This table shows asset allocations for the 1,000 largest corporate, public and union pension funds in the United States. The YMCA Retirement Fund ranks as the 275th largest pension fund based on assets. Many pension funds generally make higher allocations to private equity, hedge funds and other alternative strategies in an attempt to recognize the typically better risk and return trade-offs than traditional equity and bond portfolios. The Fund has been increasing its allocation to alternative assets and will continue to move opportunistically in this area.
